Step-by-step guide

From the first setting to a till that balances

What Corte y Barba handles, in the order a shop meets it. Each step names the button it uses, as it reads in the app.

Set up your shop, once

Everything can be changed later, and a barber working alone skips the team.

  1. Money, clock and hours

In “Settings › Shop and features”, choose the currency, time zone and tax, and the hours the board shows. The features your shop works with are switched on on the same page.

  2. Prices

In “Services”, the most common services are already there: give each one its price and minutes, and tick “Clients may book it online” on those clients may book themselves.

  3. The team

In “Team”, add who cuts and who runs the counter, each with their chair. With their e-mail, each one gets their own sign-in.

  4. Your booking page

In “Settings”, “Your card and the line” is your shop's own page: share its link on WhatsApp or Instagram, or print its QR for the counter.

The board

A day on the board

  1. “Appointment” books a client with a barber, services, day and time. If it overlaps another or falls outside your hours, the app says so, and “Book anyway” leaves the decision to you.
  2. “Walk-in” is for whoever comes in without a booking: seat them now, or “Add to the line” with the time they would sit worked out.
  3. Each visit moves on with one tap: “Arrived”, “Seat”, “Finish”, “Charge”.
  4. “Waiting room screen” puts the line on the waiting room's screen: who is next and who has been called.
Corte y Barba's agenda: a day with three barbers, each in a column, with appointments charged, in the chair and still to come
  1. Each barber's column, with their chair.
  2. Each appointment, with its time and where it stands.
  3. The next step, one tap away: finish or charge.

The charge and the till

Charge in two taps, close a till that balances

  1. “Charge” opens with the appointment's services already in. Add a product or a discount, choose how it is paid, and the change is worked out; “Split the payment” takes two methods.
  2. After the charge, “Book the next visit” offers the client's next visit at their own rhythm, and “Thank them on WhatsApp” opens WhatsApp with your message already written.
  3. At the end of the day, in “Till”, “Cash count” asks what each payment method holds; the expected amount and the difference are worked out, and “Close the cash count” ends the day. The till is for the owner and the counter.

Clients

Clients who come back

  1. Every visit and every charge goes on the client's card, beside how they like the cut: the guard, the line, the products.
  2. “Clients › To contact” lists who to remind of tomorrow, who is due and who has not come in a while, with your message written: open the conversation, send it from your own WhatsApp and mark it done.
  3. “Waitlist” keeps the clients who wanted a full day; when a time frees up, offer it and book it.

The line, the reminders, the next visit, packages and the cash count are switches in “Settings › Shop and features”: turn on what your shop works with.

Try it on your own shop

Free for the barber who works alone, without a card. A shop with a team pays for its chairs, month by month.
